Additional Info
Brass nipples offer good corrosion resistance from heat and the salt and minerals in water. Brass nipples are relatively soft, which provide an easy, tight seal during installation. Brass has a heavier wall than copper and provides the same advantages as copper plumbing. Brass nipples, fittings and piping systems are currently being utilized primarily for water and commercial plumbing because of its longevity and corrosion resistance.
